Vet Terrance is a Community Project of Harvest Tyme Food Ministries and the Business and Technical Partners of Harvest Tyme Food Ministries to create a project which is about caring for our Veterans who have served us and protected us with honor and now we are returning that honor back to them. We are here to develop simple steps that; Rebuild, Inspire, and Empower Veterans and Young People and Disadvantaged People to achieve beyond what they and others thought was possible due to physical, mental, or emotional issues that happened in their lives. Especially the Veterans who gave of their lives to serve and protect our country with honor and dignity. We now give them the chance to live again with dignity even if they have become disabled due to their military service.
Vet Terrance is a totally unique program which makes it very different than any other Veteran's "help program" in the country. Here are some of the things which make Vet Terrance so special and unique:
- Vet Terrance Communities are Self Sustaining Communities which have Living, Working, and Playing areas for all the people of each Community.
- Vet Terrance Communites are Communities which EARN MONEY AND MAKE PEOPLE PRODUCTIVE AGAIN while at the same time those people are gaining self esteem and self respect even if they have become disabled because of their life situations.
- Vet Terrance Communities are Engineered and Designed to be Carbon Negative. This means that each Vet Terrance Community creates more oxygen than it it uses as a community so it is very earth friendly.
- Vet Terrance Communities are Engineered and Designed to be Energy Positive. This means that each Vet Terrance Community creates more energy than it consumes so that in fact each Vet Terrance Community is a good neighbor and helps the other communities around it.
- Vet Terrance Communities are Engineered and Designed to be Food Positive. This means that each Vet Terrance Community creates more food than it consumes !!!!
- Vet Terrance Communities are Engineered and Designed to be MORE than ADA compliant. Each Vet Terrance Community is Designed not only to be ADA compliant but to exceed ADA compliance and make things possible that others only try to white wash or cover by saying they meet the minimum ADA compliance rules. Vet Terrance Communites are Engineered and Designed exactly to assist people with all types of disabilities or limitations to have as much freedom and independence as possible. YES making what others consider to be IMPOSSIBLE to be POSSIBLE. Vet Terrance Communites are POSITIVE POSSIBLITY COMMUNITIES not simply "shelters for those poor disabled or disadvantages people" NO all Vet Terrance Communities are Designed and Engineered from the start to be safe, happy, healthy positive Live, Work, Play, and rebuild your life Communites.
- Vet Terrance Communities and the Vet Terrance Project also reach out to victims of Natural Disasters world wide to "Give a Helping Hand When and Where and How it is Most Needed".
